About the Recruitment & Result
The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) had advertised Total-26 vacancies for the post of House Mother/Matron (Only for Female) under Post Code 38/24 in the Women & Child Development (WCD) Department. - SC / ST / PwBD Category: 30%
- Ex-Servicemen (ExSM): Will be given 5% relaxation in their respective categories, subject to a minimum of 30%.
Tie-Breaking Rules
As per the advertisement No. 05/24 Examination Scheme Para 4 (vii), in case two or more candidates in the same category have equal marks, the following rules apply (for One Tier/Technical/Teaching posts):
- Rule 1: The candidate securing more marks in the subject-specific section (Section-B) is to be placed higher in merit.
- Rule 2: In case the marks mentioned above are also equal, the candidate senior in age is to be placed higher in merit.
Adjustment Against Unreserved Vacancies
Reserved category candidates who have obtained marks equal to or above the last shortlisted UR candidate will be shortlisted against UR vacancies. Their final selection will be considered in the UR category, subject to the availability of vacancies. Otherwise, they will be considered for selection in their respective category.

This shortlisting for calling the e-dossier is subject to the outcome of pending court cases—specifically, OA No. 585/2024 and OA No. 1274/2024 pending before the Hon'ble CAT, Delhi. The final result will also be subject to the outcome of these cases.
